Affiliate Program Web Sites
Okay, I’ve come across several questions that relate to affiliate program web sites and I’m going to set the record straight. Our most popular one revolves around getting traffic to your links in hopes that someone will purchase from your ID. Well, the question we would ask you is do you have time to promote your links, or would you invest money to have someone else do it for you?
It’s a great question and one that needs to be answered before we go any farther. If you have the time, we can throw out all kinds of routes for you to take advantage of online. If you don’t and need someone else to do it, then we have a few places where you can invest a little money and everything will be taken care of for you. It’s your choice, but I’ll cover both aspects and then let you decide where you want to go.
Free Promoting
Let’s say you have an hour or two everyday to put towards your affiliate program web sites and building traffic for them. The first thing you’ll want to do is send out an APB on all friends and family on places like Facebook. Obviously I’m aren’t talking about writing a little note that has SPAM written all over it or even going around to each one individually. Just add a link to your “Update what you’re doing” area. It lets everyone on your friends list know what is going on with you.
Once you reach that plateau as well as other networking sites then start thinking about forums you can join. Make sure if you are promoting jewelry you join a forum that is talking about a specific jewelry. You can interact with them and leave a signature link that is your affiliate program where they can see it in each post you make on threads others are starting. Just remember not to mention it at all. They’ll be more enticed to look.
Paying a Little Money
If you don’t have time for any of the stuff we mentioned above, then pay a few bucks to let a pay per click company do it for you. What happens is you start bidding on these keywords and pay a price for every time someone clicks on your ad. It’s a great way to get targeted traffic, but you’ll have to build the ad yourself. Don’t worry, it’s pretty easy to understand.
If that doesn’t sound like your cup of tea, then go out and purchase leads. You can get targeted, extremely targeted, and fresh leads for only a few bucks. These will virtually bring people over immediately each day. While that begins to work, you might even want to go back to the free promoting and get what you can. Just remember, the more you act like you’re not selling, the sooner people will ask about it.
