The Limes Country Lodge in Birmingham
The Limes Country Lodge is a small family own and managed bed and breakfast which is located on Forshaw Heath Road, Birmingham. Its nearest train stations are Wood End, Earlswood (West Midlands), Wythall and The Lakes and the nearest airport is The Birmingham International Airport.
The Earlswood Village Museum, The Transport Museum and Forge Mill Needle Museum & Bordesley Abbey are within walking distance of the Limes Country Lodge. More museums are just a bit further form the Hotel. The Inkford Hotel, The Hilton Hound Hotel and Abbey Hotel are among the hotels close the it. It you wanted to go out eating many options can be suggested near the hotel including The Portway Italian, The Red Lion and the Spice Room. The hotel is a heaven for golf lovers considering The Kings Norton Golf Club, Fulford Heath Golf Club and Ladbrock Park Golf Club right around the corner.Â
This is a three-star guesthouse and as it was mentioned a very small one with only 8 rooms and rates around £40 – variable – and above which seems a reasonable price for the comfort it provides.
The rooms are equipped with minibar, TV, tea/coffee maker. Car park and mountain bike for hire are available. The hotel is non-smoking.
The Limes country Lodge has been rated 4.09 of 5.0 which is very impressive. It has been recommended for its reasonable price, clean rooms and friendly staff. The quiet location of the hotel has also attracted interests of many guests. In total this guesthouse is very much suits those who want to escape busy and polluted cities for a short time.
